Articles disappeard in category
A few days ago, I set some articles in a category to the status “invisible”. Today I wanted to put them back online, but when I call the category site (domain.com/section/?c=cat), most of the articles didn’t show up. Weird, the articles do have the correct section and category. When I set them to another category, and call that page, then the articles are displayed. Somebody knows a solution? (Using 4.0.4)
Regards,
Joey

If you are sure you didn’t modify your article tag, try if clearing the cache and/or setting ‘Send “Last-Modified” header’ in advanced preferences to ‘no’ makes a difference.

Thanks Els, I indeed didn’t modify the article tag. I also cleaned my cache, and just disabled the Last-modified header, but that doesn’t solve the problem. But here is what I just found out: I’m using gbp_permanent_links to make links like domain.com/section/category, which is also the URL where some articles do not show up. But when I go to domain.com/section?c=cat, the article do show up. I already tried to disable-enable the plugin, reinstalled the plugin, reconfigured the URL schemes, but nothing worked.

Joey

Re: Articles disappeard in category
And when you set the articles to another category, /section/another-category does display the articles?
Edit: on second thought: did you enter anything in the ‘Build’ screen of permanent links under ‘Conditions’? (maybe the url scheme isn’t set for that particular category?)

You’re describing a problem with a plugin. Talk to to its creator.

Yes they are displayed.

Nope didn’t entered anything under conditions.
Mary, on first thought I didn’t know that it could be a plugin problem. I’m going to post it in the plugin thread now.
