Uploading images and permission troubles!
Everything was ok till this day when uploading images I get this error > screendump
I’ve checked the folder ‘files’ with Transmit and the info says ‘777’ … !!?? … if I still give the command to change the permissions I get this > screendump
Any help is appreciated!

The provider says everything is ok (the server!) … mmmm … what to do next!?

I’ve checked the database … repaired the tables … everything is (was) ok!

Even though it says “files”, you’re uploading images, so what are the permissions on the “images” folder?

What ever I do with the permissions settings via Transmit, also on ‘Images’, I get an ‘error 142: remote chmod failed’ … !? So does that conclude that the server don’t permit me changing the permissions?

That appears to be the case, yes, but 777 permissions is as high as it gets so normally you should be able to do anything in that folder that you want. The fact that you can’t indicates a problem, so I’d contact your provider again even though they said everything was okay on the server (IT-people think only users make mistakes, haha)

O.k. … via adminpanel of the provider I’ve reset the permissions … and everything is streaming again. Thanks for advice, etc.
