[textile] Span, and links

It seems that if you setup a post like below, it shows the Textile code instead of the XHTML.

Example:

<span class="one">"link":linkurl</span>

Is it supposed to do that?

EDIT: Even if you put the code inside any sort of raw HTML, it does the same thing. (Ex: div, span)
