Transfer a textpattern webpage fom my webserver to my local wampserver

Hi,

I wanna transfer a textpattern web page from my webserver to my local Wamp server.

And I did…

I’ve installed textpattern on my wamp, and then I’ve imported the my webserver’s textpattern database, alrready fulfiled whth my site’s data.

The problem is that when I open the my localserver textpattern the main page is ok, but, when I try to open some article I get:

“The requested URL /dc_textpattern/article/14/cruzada-contra-el-ipod-en-nueva-york was not found on this server.”

Any ideas?

I made varous searches at the forum with “wamp”. Got nothing that I wanted.

Looks like a clean URL problem. Try messy urls in the Admin preferences to confirm.

If that’s the culprit, you’ll have tp try some of these solutions.

Although some of these are for MAMP not WAMP, the same principles apply

It turns out that my problem was the mod_rewrite from Apache. It was unabled. I just Enabled it, restarted apache and…problem solved…
