Validate comment form w/ xhtml strict
Hi, I was looking for a solution to the comment_form validation problem when I found this faq.
There’s a link inside, which should explain how to fix the problem, bu it doesn’t work. Could please someone tell me how to make comments validate in xtml strict?
Thank you,
Vittorio
Edit: The link’s working now :P
But it tells something on how to validate comment forms with xhtml strict 1.0, while I need 1.1.
The validator outputs 0 errors and 3 warnings:
reference to non-existent ID “name”
reference to non-existent ID “email”
reference to non-existent ID “web”
So the thread is still looking for help.

Re: Validate comment form w/ xhtml strict
I haven’t upgraded to 4.0.4 yet (I know, I know) but I did a little hacking in comment.php in 4.0.3 and my comment form now validates under Strict 1.0 and 1.1.

Ok, could you please tell me how to do this little hacking? Maybe I can try and see if it works in 4.0.4 too.
