New layout to personal blog

Here is our personal blog, built from the ground up:

Three Loose Nuts

I had a lot of difficulty with the layout, a reflection of my newb status, and it still looks best in Firefox, but it is legible in IE6, at long last.

Your comments are appreciated.

Re: New layout to personal blog

Hi Steve, I like the look of your site. Nice soft colours!

One small thing (in FF/windows): in the left column, when you hover over a (any) link under ‘Archives’, everything below moves up a little bit.

And thanks for the IEs 4 Linux tip I found on your site :)

Re: New layout to personal blog

I think you might have intended the background to be white. Might want to set it as a default :-)

Sheesh, thank you for pointing that out. It is amazing how you can miss things you are looking at too much!

Edit: Fixed the CSS

YVW. I would not have been able to code for IE at all without that s/ware.

Ooops. You mean white is not enforced as a background colour? ;-)
Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: background-color added to CSS
