Switching from PHP5 powered to PHP4 Powered.

Hello, I’m gonna move my Textpattern site from one webhost to another. In this move I’ll switch from a PHP5 server to a PHP4 server. Are there any problems in this? Will there be any mess?

Please let me know, thank you.

G.

Re: Switching from PHP5 powered to PHP4 Powered.

I develop on my local PHP 5.2.0 server and upload to a PHP 4.3.10 server, never seen any problems.

Re: Switching from PHP5 powered to PHP4 Powered.

Different PHP versions shouldn’t be a problem provided they meet the system requirements.

Changing MySQL versions without following the procedures described in the MySQL documentation can cause headaches.
