4.1 doesn’t exist yet. :)

The timeline for development on the relevant branch (crockery, not dev).

I heard its going to be written with Ruby on Django on Rails on Python and have rounded corners and large bold sans-serif headlines. Its true.

And all the developers will sport pony tails and be seen drinking cafe-lattes at the trendiest hangouts spouting eloquent TxPisms while they carry on conversations on their iPhones.

So you’ve been to Sydney before?

The current public Crockery codebase doesn’t yet have much in the way of earth-shattering new features. Most of the work sofar has been in refactoring the low level code to make new features easier: new database classes, controller classes, installer code, modularization. Plugins can provide alternatives to Textile for article markup, for example.

No I haven’t had the opportunity, the farthest west I’ve made it out to is Hawaii. I’m hoping to take a trip out to Australia and New Zealand one day, before the frequent toilet trips prohibit me to venture very far :)

And all the developers will sport pony tails…

1/5 already do (on occasion, anyway). The assimilation begins…

Re: What's new in 4.1?

I won’t tell my wife how much I enjoy reading this stuff after a marg, while sitting on the toilet (lid closed), while bathing my son (watching him bathe and making sure he doesn’t drown), while wondering how the newest (5 days old) addition to our family is doing.

Mary, Assimilate away!

It’s been quite some time since I poked at Crockery, and will do so soon. In the meantime, can you tell me if there are any plans to move some of the functions currently in publish.php to classes? Just the ability to override preText() would be huge.

Would TP benefit from a bigger core development team?
