URL's from old CMS interfere with new textpatttern setup
Hi,
Recently I have been redesigning this site and transfered it from another CMS (Lynkx) to textpattern. Now there’s a strange interference going on with the old “messy” site url’s from Lynkx and the new setup that has clean url’s with section/title url modus. All url’s (from search engines) starting with the old messy Lynkx string /Default.lynkx?id=n
are not resulting in a 404 but show the id=n article if existent in the new installation.
Example 1 with existing article id in new site
http://digitaalbestuur.nl/Default.lynkx?id=18
Example 2 non existing article id in new site
http://digitaalbestuur.nl/Default.lynkx?id=180
Example 3 fancy url with existing id
http://digitaalbestuur.nl/anything-you-always-liked-to-put-in-an-url?id=18
I think this is unwanted behavior not in the least because search engines are mislead.
I can think of a rewrite rule rewriting url’s starting with /Default.lynkx to a 404 (anyone can provide one that doesn’t interfere with normal txp url’s?)
