Is the length of articles is limited ?

I tried last night to record a quite long article under TXP; i received a SQL error message repeated several times on the page when i clicked ‘Publish’.

Is the length of articles is limited in the SQL table ? If so, how long articles can be ?

I think the sql limit is about 16MB. So it’s probqably something else. May be some characters spoil the saving.( Textile not switched on ?) May be the table is corrupted, may be it’s a Server problem.

M is right, the size is about 16MB.

Please include all the relevant information when asking for help.

I have never had problem with the server settings nor with the SQL table; the problem came only with this specific article.
May be some characters spoil the saving as you said.

Anyway, it is good to know about the size of articles in SQL.
