displaying multiple categories at once

hello

i’m trying to do something like the subject says, displaying two or more categories at the same time, but a search on how to do it with txp fails to come back with meaningful results, but maybe i’m not searching with the right words, english is not my first language. if a solution is widely available, i apologize.

what i’m trying to do is, say, a user wants to see all the posts regarding, for example, cycling and food, possibly selecting the categories themselves from checkboxes. is this possible? by means of a plugin, maybe? anyone can shed some light on this matter?
