Inventory management system? Very Basic.

Hello,

I haven’t installed TextPattern yet. I have a question before I get too involved.

TextPattern looks to be very much like Macromedia’s/Adobe’s Contribute software except it’s FREE =) .

I am looking for an easy way for my clients to edit inventory on their sites. They are not using a shopping cart or anything. One example would be a car dealership that needs to upload new inventory and edit current inventory.

Now car salesmen aren’t always the most web savvy ;P

Would this be something they could use that would have a simple interface for them to upload new items and edit old?

They wouldn’t be able to edit code in any way.

Basically all they would need to do is upload an image and edit text in some sort of tabled structure.

If not, does anyone have a suggestion of what I could use?

Thank you for your help, I do plan on using Textpattern in other projects.

I apologize i think i may have found something more fitting for this particular situation.

I am looking into using a gallery such as JAlbum.

You can delete this post or leave it as reference for someone who may be looking for a similar answer.
