change a db password

hi, how do i change a password of the database? i changed it in phpmyadmin, now how can i change it in a working textpattern site?

after the installation i removed it. do i need to create another config.php?

If you had a working textpattern site, then you must have had a config.php file as well. It’s in the textpattern directory. After installation you probably removed the setup directory, not config.php.
