Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

I know all the action’s over at smd_calendar, but I’ve got a client still using zem_calendar and am hoping some of you are still around. A couple of previous posters have mentioned problems with links not showing up in the mini-calendar even when the event is listed alongside the correct month. I couldn’t find if this was ever addressed. On my client’s site, some events show links in the mini-calendar and others don’t and I see no difference between how the events are set up. I even repaired tables to no effect.

Any ideas?

I’ve got quiet a few sites still running zem_event.

I’m assuming zem event reborn has been abandoned? Are you stll working on it pepebe?

Does anyone have just a patch to make zem_event work with 4.2.0?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Hi – sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but by trial and error I managed to get it back working on 4.4.0 by simply commenting out a little of the code near the bottom of the plugin, as follows:

	// if (zem_txp_ver('4.1.0')) {
		# 4.1.x category type
		// include_element('include/txp_category');
		// register_category_type('event');
	// }
	// else {
		# 4.0.x category tab code
		add_privs('zem_event_cats', '1,2,3,4,5');
		register_tab('content', 'zem_event_cats', zem_event_gTxt('event_categories'));
		register_callback('zem_event_cat_tab', 'zem_event_cats');
	// }

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Add me to the list of people with a few existing client sites using zem_event. I’m happy to contribute some cash if anyone wants to fix this up for current versions of TXP – its becoming a liability where TXP upgrades are concerned. Anyone interested?

zem_event doesnt work with 4.5.4 I’m afraid. I’m not sure how you can get around the login error, sorry. Hopefully one f the developers will be able to help

You might be able to disable and/or it via phpMyAdmin

If I’m not mistaken, you can go directly to yoursite.com/textpattern/index.php?event=plugin.
