mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount: Unexpected error
I’ve been using the mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount plugin for sometime now with good result and no problems. This morning, I added a new word to the array of spam words, went to one particular page on our site (http://fortbendnow.com/index.php?s=weather) and found that while the main page displays, the background image no longer does. At the top, this error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /users/home/fortbob/web/public/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(512) : eval()’d code on line 28
The above errors were caused by the plugin:mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount
I disabled the plugin, but the error persists. I removed the plugin, but still get the error. The referenced file leads me to believe the error has something to do with error handling, but I’m not a programmer and can’t figure out for the life of me why the error would persist if the offending plugin has been removed.
Anyone have any ideas?

Re: mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount: Unexpected error
OK, there was a bit of old javascript no longer in use on other pages that seems to have caused the problem. Removed it and all works as it should. Strange, though, as the plugin never caused this to happen before and there was no obvious connection…
