comment form appears where it shouldnt (twice!)

the comment form appears on one of my pages on two places it shouldnt. the line below causes the form to appear once, why i dont know. when i comment it out, the form dissappears. the “continents” form below just contains a bullet list used for navigation. it is an article form and contains no reference at all to comments.

txp:article limit=“1” form=“continents”

utterly confused …

You probably have two article tags on the page. In Admin > Preferences set ‘Automatically append comments to articles’ to ‘no’, and read this FAQ: Comment display confusion.
