Creating articles on the front end?

Is there possibly a way to have a form on the front end of a site that can be filled in and submitted, and that will automatically create an article on the back end of the site?

The form would specify all of the needed info that would then be used to fill in all of the fields on the back end, including the custom fields, etc. Could this possibly be done building a plugin to handle it? Is there already something similar out there now?

Thanks!

You have Manfre’s Moderation plug-in.

Thanks maniqui, this appears to be something that might be pretty useful. I am going to play around with it and see what I can come up with.
