Hi All,

I’m totally new to Textpattern.

Is there any way to post to TXP by email. I’m running mine at a hosted service.

I’ve been using BlogMailr, which is a 3rd party dealy-bob. It’s in beta and still needs some tweaking, but it works nice. Using it with Outlook might screw up your fonts and formatting, though. It’s aces in Thunderbird or Gmail. It’s unable to handle pics for the time being.

Also, the Performancing extension for Firefox (it’s name has changed recently, but still found under ‘Performancing’ at the Mozilla site) is great for posting and also has some basic FTP capabilities for pics. My fave 3rd party blog editor is Zoho, which is an online office suite. You can post through the ‘Zoho Writer,’ upload your pics to their server, and even go back and edit your posts.

Textile is fun and all, but sometimes it nice having that word processor familiarity… ;)

Oh yah, I forgot to mention installing the XML-RPC plugin…
