Sort by author's RealName?

On my group blog I have a static section called “biography” where each author has a personal bio. I made a simple form for the main section page that uses <txp:article /> to produce a list of author names, where each links to that person’s bio.

So how do I sort this list by author name? The closest I’ve been able to come is to sort by usernames, but those are different from the authors’ real names. I’d really like this list to alphabetize “Bill Brown” and “George Jones,” not “pigflyer27890” and “bbphatboy.” :-)

It would be an extra bonus if the solution has the logic to alphabetize by last name first, but since RealName is just one string I won’t hold my breath. Besides, beggars can’t be choosers.
