Display articles from current section in single article

Essentially, what I want to do is this (on the page of a single article):

<txp:article_custom form="jumptabs" section="<txp:section />" />

… but because of the end of the section tag, Textpattern breaks out of the tag before it’s done parsing (and I get a list of all articles in all sections).

Any thoughts? Could I output the section name via PHP?
