EXIF data

Is there anything out there, a TXP plugin or a GPL package, that reads and outputs EXIF data for photographs?

Re: EXIF data

I have used this extractor , but

If you need multiplatform EXIF-o-matic is the ticket. It outputs html too.

Re: EXIF data

Plogger, the image gallery, uses Exifixer to extract EXIF data from images.

Re: EXIF data

jhead a commandline utility to do anything with exif headers you could dream of (ok, almost anything)
fxp_image_import it imports the exif comment to the caption in txp – I don’t know what you want to do, but it works for me.

once there was zem_exif, but it seems to be lost in time – maybe Alex can enlighten us about the whereabouts (unfortunately I don’t have it anymore).

Re: EXIF data

Not a plugin or really related, but Opera 9+ allows you to right click an image (Properties) to view EXIF data if there is any. The More You Know :)

Re: EXIF data

These all sound interesting. I haven’t had a chance to check them out yet, but will hopefully do so over the weekend. Thanks for the recommendations!

Re: EXIF data

A small followup on this topic.
I have this working nicely.
( I wanted the exif data inside the caption of slimbox, but decided to put it inside of a tooltip instead )

Now I want to integrate all that stuff into an plugin ( 90% done ) and I have to make a decision:
  1. either use exifier as an include file
  2. or pull everything from static files that you batch generate with exif-o-matic.

rgrds, marios

Re: EXIF data

In case anyone is still interested the EXIF plugin is available now.
I finally changed my mind and went for option 2.
