articles of a specific date/section shown in another section
I’m sure I already read something about that, but I couldn’t find it again. And my trials aren’t working.
How can I achieve to- find all articles of a specific date
- in a specific section
- and show them in another specified section (because I want different layout body/excerpt and so on)
- all that in a link?
I tried
URL/different_section/?date=2006-12-10
but that didn’t work.
Even
URL/?date=2006-12-10&s=sectionname
didn’t work for me at the moment, but maybe there is some issue with my template too.
time=any, so future articles should be visible.
Can someone tell me where to find the right syntax for links like this and if there is a chance to achieve what I’m looking for, if possible without a plugin (but plugins also welcome!)?
Thanks for your help!
Edit:
To be more precise in the effect I need:
I have a section with events (from different categories), which are presented chronologically in an abbreviated form (only title and link).
Now I want to have a different view, presenting only events of one day/date and showing more details.
Calling this view should be possible from outside the site by setting a link.
