restricting author/writer privileges to one section in 4.0.4?

edit: preferrably without the use of a plug…

A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Hack: only list your own articles/images/files is the only thing I know of.

Remember that hacks aren’t supported, so if it breaks… :)

Re: restricting author privileges to one section in 4.0.4?

well if it breaks, then it breaks, i won’t die from it. 8-)
contrary to that i even think it doesn one good to hack and suffer from the consequences.
you do that two or three times and suddenly you know at least in a general sense, how that piece of software works.
i don’t like the trouble, but i like the outcome. still i guess i am not gonna hack it, becuase i already hacked so much into 4.0.4, that i need a logfile first… these 25 custom fields totally make sense, though… thanx mary
