links in comments do not appear in the admin interface
I don’t know if this is a feature or a bug.
But so far I was used to see links in comments in the comment admin interface. Sinde 4.0.4 the links aren’t shown any longer….

access the comments edit via content -> articles
there’s a comment edit entry for each article.
A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Probably it is not clear what I mean.
If a user enters a link in his comment, this link was shown in 4.0.3 in the comment admin interface. now they are not displayed any longer.

i think what he means is, that hyperlinks entered by commenters in their comments don’t appear when editing them in the backend. i didn’t quite understand, thoughl if they totally disappear or appear as text only version without hyperlinking.
is that right, x-it?

Ok. Go to the tab content —> comments.
There you see a list of all comments.
Till 4.0.3. the text of the comments contained the html Users entered, e.g. links.
Since 4.0.4 the list of comments displays only the first characters of the comment, followed by a …. But the comment is shown without any html entered by the users. This seemed to me a little bit strange

That list shows only an excerpt of the comment. Click on the ‘edit’ link in the left column to see the full comment.
I like it that way. The table gives a quick overview of the comments. Easy to scan.
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?
