How Do I Keep Up With Plugin Updates?

So…

Is there a method of keeping up with plugin updates that I’m not aware of? Is this something on a to-do list somewhere? I try to watch the forums here but often I miss an updated plugin with features I could really use… or bug fixes.

Not yet, but once plugins and compatibility information is stored in the textpattern.org plugin repository (one of the things I’ll be working on as soon as the renewed website is online), it should be possible to write a small plugin that checks for updates. That would be a nice feature.
