[request] Drop Down For Search Box
Having never created a Plug In, I am unceratin how complicated this would be, BUT what I am looking for is the ability to combine the search capability in TXP with a drop down list.
What I want to offer is a drop down list so that the visitor does not have to input information, but that the search does run and locates the appropriate articles.
If you are wondering, I have created drop down lists for my custom fields. I have also modified the search functionality to look in the custom fields. Now I want the visiotr to be able to use a pull down box to locate those articles that math the set criteria in the custom field.
Because I have many custom fields, the catgory route, athough functional, would not be that easy for my client to admin.
Any and all guidance would be appreciated, to even let me know if you understand the functionality I am looking for and if anyone knows if it is capable of being done.
