Link in e-mailed comment invalid

I’m running 4.0.4.

When articles are e-mailed to me, it contains a link to the comment, but since moving to 4.0.4 the link doesn’t work. For example, this is the link provided in the most recent comment I received:

<code>A comment on your post “Myst V” was recorded.
http://www.andcuriouser.com/current/article/1517/myst-v
http://www.andcuriouser.com/current/textpattern/index.php?event=discuss&step=discuss_edit&discussid=</code>

As you can see, there’s no discussid provided, so when I click on the second link it just leads me to an error page. Has anyone else seen this? I looked around the forums, but I couldn’t see anything related to this.

This is strange. In my 4.0.4 installation the link works fine.
