displaying a link by its id?

uhm, sorry, my head works like chewing gum today:

is there any way a textpattern tag would display a certain link by its ID? or name?

<txp:link id=12 /> or alike?

can’t get it together… stupid me…

I think is not possible with built-in tags, but you have this plug-in that makes it possible:
