Revision numbers don't match in 4.0.4

Hey folks. I just upgraded to 4.0.4 and have come across a few files that their revision numbers don’t match with the checksum list located at http://svn.textpattern.com/releases/4.0.4/source/textpattern/checksums.txt

I was wondering if I am missing something. Here are the files in question. The first one is the actual file on the server and the second one is the listed rev number in the checksum list. Am I missing something? Any help would be great!

That was my fault, sorry, as I messed up the http://svn.textpattern.com/releases/4.0.4/source/ path for a short while. It should be back to normal now.

We’ve also repackaged the download to get rid of some spurios error-messages that some peope were getting due to automagic conversions of their file-transfer clients. Therefore a few files have newer version numbers now than in the original download. Functionality of textpattern itself is not affected though, it was only the diagnostics message.

Thanks for the response. So am I correct in my understanding that even though some files are unknown revision numbers, that it won’t adversely affect anything?

The message itself is supposed to help with finding problems, though in this case the message itselft turned out to be the problem (for some people). So, the appearance of the message – if you use the original download – does not indicate that something is necessarily wrong. Of course it’s still possible that something else is wrong – there is now ay of knowing, unless an actual problem crops up. So in a way, to be safe, you can update to the updated download. Most likely though, everything is ok for you as it is.

Thanks a lot for the help Sencer. I feel like a tard because I didn’t even read through the checksums…my fault.

I am really happy with Textpattern so far and the polish of 4.0.4 is great.
