Importing....
Hi, I’m currently having a bit of a problem. Actually, if you could see if from where I am, it is a rather large problem, perhaps gigantic. My host did a server switch sometime last week and my site has been viewable, although not in all it’s glory since at least Friday. I cannot access the textpattern control panel, nor can I access cpanel for my main domain. So I decided to redirect Alessandrapalmer.org to x.alessandrapalmer.org which I haven’t done yet. I put a new install of TXP on the domain, gave it its own mysql db and whatnot and set it up. What I’d like to do now is import all the blog entries from my main install to the new install, but there isn’t an option to do it in the import tab. So is my only option copying and pasting? Given that I can barely navigate my website, I am not too keen on that, but if it is the only option i suppose I will have to make do. Thanks. – Ali

Re: Importing....
Do you have phpMyAdmin? You can export to sql from your old db and import to the new one.

Re: Importing....
Rob’s plugin makes this easy, but since you can’t get at the control panel…
I would highly recommend you ask your host what the heck is up, not go through a needless export/import.
