Re: gbp_permanent_links

As I understand it, by defining $prefs['custom_url_func'], you override the default Textpattern function permlinkurl(). However, currently my Atom/RSS feeds both display permalink format set in my Admin->Preferences, not the format I’ve defined in gbp_permanent_links. I can see this plugin utilizing custom_url_func, but it doesn’t seem to be set during feeds?

Does this last release fix the issue for section/section links?

Unfortunately no. Due to time constraints this probably won’t make it for a while.

It should be set during the feeds… oh I can see what’s going wrong. In fails for main feed only – section or category feeds should work okay. I’ll have a fix soon.

Re: gbp_permanent_links

just uploaded the latest version (0.11) but I get the same exact link error…

http://minimaldesign.net/file_download/projects#38;id=2

instead of

http://minimaldesign.net/file_download/2

Any idea what could be causing that? Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you troubleshoot.

Thanks!!

Not sure how this can still be possible, are you sure the page hasn’t been cached? Could you sent me the plugin’s debugging info please.

Re: gbp_permanent_links

I cleared cache + reloaded but it’s the same.

I can’t find your email so I put the text file for you here:

http://minimaldesign.net/debug_061225.txt

Let me know if I can do anything else to help you figure it out – Thanks again!

Re: gbp_permanent_links

You can enabled extra debugging from the plugin preferences and by turning on Txp’s production status preference to debugging.

It will be outputted in the html of the page.

Could you use this link to email it directly. Thanks.

Re: gbp_permanent_links

Sorry, I just thought about something that’s not part of the regular txp install, I have no idea if it’s related, but I thought I should mention it just in case. In the article, to pull the correct file to download related to the article, I have a custom field set to “file_download_id” that I populate w/ the related file ID in the admin panel, then I have a custom form I plug in the article form which does the “tag in a tag” trick, here’s the content of the form that gets the file download link:

<txp:php> $cf = custom_field (array ('name' => 'file_download_id')); echo file_download (array('id' => $cf)); </txp:php>

Again, no idea if it’s related…

I set txp in debug mode, here’s one post that has a link to a file download.

Also, I get “you do not have permission to view this page” kinda thing when I go to your email info page… In the meantime, I uploaded the new txt debug info here

- update -

I can’t stay in debug mode much longer so I added all the debug info that shows up on the page w/ a download file link in the same text file, just download it again to get full version

Strange. It just shouldn’t be doing that anymore.

Try this… for a workaround until I can fix this. Put your download tags between <txp:gbp_disable_permlinks> ... </txp:gbp_disable_permlinks>

<txp:gbp_disable_permlinks> <txp:php> $cf = custom_field (array ('name' => 'file_download_id')); echo file_download (array('id' => $cf)); </txp:php> </txp:gbp_disable_permlinks>

Well, let me know if there’s anything you want me to try for you – that work around works for now though… Happy :)
