It sounds like your host (“hawk”) is incorrect. Typically it would be “localhost” when running locally.

‘hawk’ looks like the name of the Apache server, not the MySQL server.
The error message is accurate and descriptive: your MySQL server does not allow connections from the server named ‘hawk’.
Talk to your web hosting company. If this is your own server, please read the MySQL documentation for information about authentication and security.
