r1749 write tab - pre-publish inconsistency
There is a small inconsistency in the display behaviour of the “view” link when writing new articles.
Reproduction instructions…
- Hit the write tab to start a new article, no view link next to the title field.
- Hit either the ‘HTML’ or ‘Preview’ side tab.
- Hit the ‘Text’ side tab.
Now the view link is present. Clicking on it produces http://sitename/// in section/id/title permlink mode. The actual form varies with the permlink mode.

Confirmed. It only happens if/when you have not saved the article. In that case the link should not be created as obviously the article does not yet exist.
The behaviour should be the same as when you save an article as draft.
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?
