login prompt appears on all pages
Hello -
I just had a client switch hosting and services over to me and we’ve set up Textpattern (never used it before) for this client. Here’s the problem I’m having: when I go to view the site, a login prompt appears: “Enter user name and password for “Limited!”. Previously, none of the links would show up (got a “Not Found” error message). I just added the .htaccess file and now I can see all the pages, but this login prompt comes up on every page.
Here’s the site: http://www.birthparenting.com/
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mary

Hey another Mary…
…when I go to view the site, a login prompt appears: Enter user name and password for “Limited!”… but this login prompt comes up on every page.
This is nothing that Textpattern itself does. Are you running any plugins? What are the contents of your .htaccess file?

Re: login prompt appears on all pages
Hi -
The plugins listed are:
mdm_if_category Matthew D Moss/GrauMeister 1.0 Passes content conditional on category.
mdn_if_section Mark Norton 2.1 This tag permits conditional text in a page template based on section context and selection.
zem_contact Threshold State 0.6 Flexible email contact/feedback form
zem_redirect zem 0.5 Redirect to canonical article URL
.htaccess file is:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^(.+) – [PT,L]
RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php
(I copied this from somewhere on the Textpattern site, though not sure where).
Thanks,
Mary

Re: login prompt appears on all pages
You have this image link somewhere on your homepage and that’s the one that is protected by a .htaccess file (probably in the /stats directory):
http://www.birthparenting.com/stats/js/awstats_misc_tracker.js?screen=1024×768&cdi=24&java=true&shk=n&fla=y&rp=n&mov=n&wma=n&pdf=n&uid=awsuser_id1156591536569r567&sid=awssession_id1156591536569r567

Re: login prompt appears on all pages
Thanks for your help! I took out the code for the javascript from the footer and now everything’s working fine.
