Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
Hi,
I just installed Textpattern and everything works except the admin area is not displayed styled as it usually is. I tried to view the CSS info via the Firefox developer toolbar and I got this error message:
http://www.carinafuller.com/blog/textpattern/lib/textpattern.css
Page not found
The strange thing is that I have textpattern installed in the subdirectory: “/blogeng/” not “/blog/” as it seems to try to access it at the wrong URL.
Reason might be, that I had the first install under /blog/.
After I removed the first texpattern install (in the /blog/subdirectory) I deleted the database etc and re-installed it. But it still seems to want to access the subdirectory “blog” rather than “blogeng”.
Also: the textpattern.css is in the textpattern folder, but not in the “lib” folder.
Hm
Thanks for any help!
Dada

Re: Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
The Txp css would be at
http://www.carinafuller.com/blogeng/textpattern/textpattern.css
You need to correct your config.php file, to point to the correct path.

Re: Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
Hi Mary,
I checked the path in the config.php file and it is set as follows:
$txpcfg[‘txpath’] = ‘/home/carina/public_html/blogeng/textpattern’;
wich is the correct path.
However when I changed the path to a direct path like: http://www.carinafuller.com/blogeng/textpattern/ it did the trick.
Thanks so much for your help Mary!
Carina

Re: Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
I don’t recommend that. It expects a path, not a url. That could easily break something elsewhere, down the line.
Make sure that your blog url in the admin prefs is correct too.

Re: Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
Try adding a trailing / to /home/carina/public_html/blogeng/textpattern and see if it helps.

Re: Admin Stylesheet Not Displaying
A nice idea NyteOwl, but it expects no trailing slash as well. :)
