only simple textile working (no class, or #id)
I want to setup a simple line of text that will be formatted based upon its class.
This:
<notextile>_(classname)My Line of Text_</notextile>
will correctly wrap the text in an em tag, but it incorrectly outputs the parentheses and text inside them.
I have TXP set up to use textile, and I have the particular post setup to use textile. Other basic things work just fine.
Am I missing some setting?
Thanks.

Re: only simple textile working (no class, or #id)
I think – though I am not certain – that is not supported behaviour (applying classes to strong or em).

I think it probably works with the version of Textile in svn, post-4.0.3.

Re: only simple textile working (no class, or #id)
classes on em and strong is definitely supported (http://textism.com/tools/textile/), or at least, should be since its one of the listed examples at Dean’s site.
I looked around, but I’m not familiar enough with this, where can I find svn to see if I can upgrade this?

Unfortunately they are two different versions of Textile, which is also different from the one that is used here at the forum, and the one in svn (four diff versions in total). Confused yet? ;) They will hopefully be reunited soon.
The version in svn is your best bet. You can grab it here (under “Download in other formats” click on “Original Format”).
