Urgent please! changed the directory textpattern was in now not wrking
Hi, I had a fully functional site using textpattern at mydomain.com/text/
so i decided i wanted my site to go live, and I move everything to mydomain.com/
I changed the site url in my admin configuration page, and the homepage displays fine, but none of the links (which are sections) work now. Whereas before, if i clicked on about, an mydomain.com/text/about/ page was generated. Can anyone help me! please!, thanks in advance

yes i did everything listed, its strange because all the images work, as does the home page, but as soon as i click on a link it gives a 404. Im using ako’s nav plugin if that changes anything?

You do not have an .htaccess file, that is you probably forgot to move it. (Files starting with a dot are often “hidden” by default when you list directory contents)

ok thanks for the info, i have one in the root dir and its 0 bytes, what should it be?

It should be either the one from the distribution (available from the download-page), or the one you have used before (in case you tweaked it in any way).
Here is .htaccess from the 4.0.3 release
