Re: ActiveCollab - OS collaboration and project management tool

Yeah it does work only with php5, discovered it a few days ago.
I have given this a test run and it looks pretty promising for an alpha !

What I like about it is it’s simplicity and also modern approach, which is damn refreshing considering the scarcity and ugliness of most project management web apps… It’s not basecamp but it has what it takes to become one very nice application… it’s on my Watchlist now :)

Re: ActiveCollab - OS collaboration and project management tool

I’m really liking activeCollab. Easy to install/use, cool features on the horizon, data is on your own server, FREE…and still only in alpha.
I was putting off Basecamp for a later day, but I’m certain I’ll never buy into it now. (The fact that I’ve read all over the Web how basecamp can sometimes come across as a closed-ears operation is no seller to me either.)

Hello activeCollab.

I’ve used both too, but only tinkered with activeCollab for a few minutes. Basecamp is okay, and I’m sure for some people it suits their purposes well, I’m just not terribly struck by it myself.
