Submit an article in an online form?

I am in the process of building a small job board on an existing website. TextPattern will power the job listings (among other things). What I would like to do is to have:

A) a page that lists all of the job titles, each with an excerpt.

B) when a visitor clicks though to the complete job description, there will be a small “contact me” form. When they submit the form, the form contents will be sent to a specific email address.

C) I fully understand A & B above…I would like article title and complete article to accompany the form submission in the email (contact information on top, job title/description below)

What would be the most efficient way to do this? Please describe in detail.
Thank You in Advance.

Re: Submit an article in an online form?

To use the excerpt use <code><txp:excerpt /></code> in the default form that presents the articles instead of <code><txp:article /></code>

For the contact form you will need to install zem_contact_reborn You can find it at that forum and how to insert fields. Just be sure to turn it on after it is installed.

Once that is installed you can then make a form with the zem contact elements and insert that into your archive. There you have it you are ready to go live

Re: Submit an article in an online form?

Or did you mean you want to include the article’s content in the email that is sent with the contact form?

Re: Submit an article in an online form?

Yes, I plan to try zem_contact_reborn… but I also want to include the article’s content in the email that is sent with the contact form if possible. Or at least the title of the article. Can anyone give instructions on how to implement this?

I appreciate your replies.
