Floating box inside body text
This is going to be a bit of a weird question, but here’s the scenario:
I’ve got a sidebar type feature that will contain links and float inside of the body text of my page. So it’s not a traditional sidebar that is completely separated from the other content. I want to be able to maintain the links in this box with the links tab of TXP.
Usually for something like this I would place the code directly in the article text and just turn off Textile. But in this case that won’t work. Can anyone think of a way that I can accomplish this so that I don’t have to manually update the sidebar everytime I need to?
Thanks!

Re: Floating box inside body text
Slap your sidebar into a form, save type as “misc” and call it up from your article
<code><txp:output_form form=“yourform” /></code>
The best part is you don’t even have to turn off Textile. :)

Do you mean place the Output Form in the actual article? I didn’t think that it would actually look at the form and ready out what’s in there. I’ll give it a shot.

Re: Floating box inside body text
I thought the same thing, and admittedly have had problems outputting article forms from articles. But static or “misc” forms should parse flawlessly. (at least they do in version 4.0.3)

Yeah, output_form works inside articles. I use it on my bio page, along with other txp tags.
