Category List - Pull Down - Jumps to another Page

Have searched and searched and can not find the answer.

Is there any way once the category is selected that the results can be displayed on another page. I know how to display it on the same page.

It is, but you’ll have to handcode the links to the category pages.

Thanks for the direction, but I am having the toughest time with this one getting it to work:

The code I am using is as follows:

I am sure it is something obvious, but I can not get it to go to a new section and display the list …

First, take out the link=1 in the second <txp:category /> tag. This shouldn’t be a link because it’s already inside the <a href="..."></a> tags.

Second, also look at the article tag you have on your section page where the category list should be displayed. If all articles in category “3600_to_4500_sq_ft” are also in section “cat_search”, <txp:article /> will do. If not, you’ll need <txp:article_custom /> with some conditionals. Example:

<txp:if_category name=“3600_to_4500_sq_ft”>
<txp:article_custom category=“3600_to_4500_sq_ft” />
</txp:if_category>
<txp:if_category name=“other_category”>
<txp:article_custom category=“other_category” />
</txp:if_category>
</code>
…and so on for every category you want to display there.

Just fyi, you might want to take a look at the new section and this_section attributes to the various category link tags in svn.
