User rights

Hi,
I wonder if ther is a possibility to give user right only to edit\add articles of one section that I will chose?

I would like every mine users have their own section, and each section can be edited only by its user. How can I do this?

I know this is possible. It is definitely either a hack, or you may recommend a plugin to help administer user rights from the admin panel more effectively? I personally think the latter is possible and you might be able to drum up some support for this from other users concerned with similar issues?
