Re: Password & Name
When you installed, after you filled in your config.php, did you click the “I did it”?

Re: Password & Name
Yes… “I did it” then it jumps right to the login page…
Nothing else… so… I don’t know my name and password…

Re: Password & Name
hmm, that shouldn’t be. After hitting that button you’re supposed to get another screen where you create your user and password (it’s not automatically made).
What version of PHP and MySQL are you using? Do you meet the system requirements?

Re: Password & Name
I’d have try to setup again but this my note:
“Looks like Textpattern is already installed. If you want to make a clean install, please remove config.php from your /usr/local/apache2/misc/11/36?/915/0#9/5/user/web/mysite/textpattern directory and try again.”
So… Do I have to reinstall again?
ps. Thank you fot your help

Re: Password & Name
Remove config.php from the folder for a moment. That message is to prevent people from accidentally installing over an existing site. Then try once more. :)

Re: Password & Name
I wanna laugh… I did what you say and appear…
“Thank you.
You are about to create and populate database tables.
Your full name: myFullName
Choose a login name (basic characters and spaces only please):myLoginName
Choose a password:myPassword
Your email address:myEmail..”
Then (next page):
“Textpattern database table already exist. Can’t run setup.”
I’m trying to login with those bla bla bla… and… Nothing
Its not the correct login name

Re: Password & Name
Wee, having fun yet? ;)
Okay, drop all the Textpattern tables from your database, move that config.php back out and try once more (make sure you’re loading the setup fresh from the address bar, not hitting the refresh button).

Re: Password & Name
Those two errors tell me that your database tables hadn’t been created. Are you sure you started up the MySQL client?
