Password changes not recognized by Server through Webmin
Hi,
Sorry bothering, I have experienced this Issue before.
First of all , I like to make it a good habit to use strong passwords, sometimes that can put you in to trouble if you have different passwords for the same domain name, so you might loose sometimes a password in your keychain.
I’ve allready learned in the past some while ago , that using punctuation characters in UNIX passwords is no good Idea, so I’m not using them.
My problem: Changing a password in webmin for a User account doesn’t get recognized. I have experienced this in the past as well.
Since I knew the Issue in the past , I allways change it in both locations under passwords, and under virtualmin virtual Servers
/edit mailboxes and Users.
Is there any time frame before before the changes take effect, what could be the problem?
The password is for a SVN repository under my main domain.
regards marios

Re: Password changes not recognized by Server through Webmin
Hey, thanks colak, problem is solved, I mistakenly submitted this post in the wrong forum, believing I was on the Textdrive forum.(How silly)
Also, there is nothing wrong with Textdrive, Textdrive Servers are all working fine, (very reliable now)
I figured it out. There is a small radio chech element that I forgot to switch next to the passwork field in edit mail Users in webmin, so there password was never entered.
Everything is up and running.
Now the next problem:How to structure a repository for TXP development sites ?
regards, marios
