where is the admin login page??

Hi… new to TP.. so be nice to me :P

as i understand, admin login interface should be on this page:
www.domain.com/textpattern/index.php (unless it was installed in a subdir, which in my case it wasn’t)

when i go to that page i get a plain text page with “GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE” and that’s it!.. where do i login to start working with TP? any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

I’m guessing
did you install txp first?
you may need to go to
www.domain.com/textpattern/setup/

Are you sure you uploaded all the files? Read the Detailed Installation Instructions to check if you didn’t forget something.

Re: where is the admin login page??

mr. trump says: “all of you guys are FIRED” heheheheheh (kidding)

well i thought it was something too complicated and i just gave it to our programmer.. he was puzzled for like 3 hrs (i think)… and then when he found out how simple the solution was, he just couldn’t believe it!

i am not too sure what he did.. but he said:
W: you are not gonna believe it
W: the file index.php had the license information and the license.txt had the source of index.php
ME: so what did you change?
W: only the names of each files

hahahahahaha i just wasted the whole day on this LOL
