Advanced Search Engine

I’ve got a few questions about the search engine.
How does TXP return search results, is it by most recent article.
Also, TXP doesn’t use keywords does it, just exact phrases.
ob1_advanced_search seems cool, anyone know when it is expected to be usable with RC3?

The last questions is kinda hard, I want to build a search engine with multiple fields (author or keyword) and return hits based on publication date. If anyone is familiar with building search engines, I would contract some work for you, send me an estimate of hours and hourly rate at vickbabu@hotmail.com

I can quickly answer a couple of those.

Search results can be sorted any way you want, as they are powered by the article tag.

1.0RC3 is an old and non-stable version of Textpattern; the latest stable version available is 4.0.3.
