Trying to make a photoblogs meme

Hi there guys!

First of all, thanks for making Textpattern, it’s just beautiful software.

What I’m trying to do is a photoblogs meme (or weekly photo contest web site) powered by TXP.

I wanted to accomplish a few things and hopefully you’ll help me out with this, though I’m not sure some things are possible…

Let’s start:

Unsolved:

1 – I would need a member area where a person could: 1.1 – register; 1.2 – edit his/her profile (this profile should be public) with, say, 4 inputs areas (name, url, name of the photoblog, camera) – the public profile should show, besides these ones, ‘member since’ and user name; 1.3 – see the current contest and enter his/her link for that week.

2 – I would need some kind of a voting system for every weekly contest

Solved:

3 – I would use this ( http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=13974 ) plugin for managing newsletters with weekly annoucements. Have to link it with members table, though.

4 – The rest is pretty much though and planned out.
