HTML instead of XHTML?
Is there any way to make Textile give me HTML instead of XHTML?
I’d rather not have the trailing slash in tags where end tags are not required, for example.
Thanks.

Re: HTML instead of XHTML?
XHTML is valid HTML. What you want is for Textile to produce invalid XHTML. It’s designed not to.
FAQ.
Alternatively, you could modify Textile to do whatever you like.
