Clean Urls work, almost. Server error when article displayed.

Okay,

Iʻm stumped. Using Bluehost, I had a new site up, clean urls was working. Donʻt know what happened, but I started getting server configuration errors (500) when displaying the actual article. Excerpts display fine, but going to the article, or hitting the comment tag gives up an error.

http://pixiful.com/archive This works.
http://pixiful.com/about No problem
http://pixiful.com/contact This works, too.

http://pixiful.com/archive/server-500-error This gives the error.

Using V.Agafonkinʻs Serene Template, modified

FAQ. Try commenting out the RewriteBase rule: # RewriteBase /.

Thanks for your reply, Mary.

Commented out RewriteBase rule, problem persists.

Also happens with messy urls.

This also fails with a server error (500)

Made a test txp install at http://i.am.pixiful.com and clean(& messy)urls work fine. Just have to find out what file I munged. Thanks, Mary. If I figure out what the problem was, I will post it here.

Weird, no? Okay, that’d be helpful, if you can find anything. :)

Re: Clean Urls work, almost. Server error when article displayed.

I am having this issue. Did you figure out what was going on. Locally the site just tires to download the index.php file when going to an article page or comment page, live it gives me the 500 error.

Strange that the homepage works fine.
