Link generated by comments invite tag breaks page layout when displayd

I may be tired but it’s driving me banannas. I have fiddled with it for a good while. The comments invite tag is generating an article#comment url which goes to the article page, but something is wonky. I have pulled a diff on the generated page/s and they come out as identical, however if you lookk at what is displayed you will see what I mean, the layout is getting rendered incorrectly on the article#comment permalink generated page.

-GOOD PAGE

&

-SAME PAGE BUT BAD

Anyone? I think I am loosing it. Time for a break I think.

WELL NOT RESOLVED< BUT RATHER I GAVE UP AND USED ANOTHER METHOD BASICALLY ELIMINATING THE COMMENTS INVITE TAG UNFORTUNATELY
